Morgan Jones was started in 2000 by Julie-Ann Clarke. Julie-Ann had worked for many years previously in Recruitment and decided to ‘go it alone’ setting up in a very small premises in Broadstairs. The original plan was to only focus on Permanent Recruitment but her first client required a temporary HR Manager (which of course she successfully filled!). This meant that MJ soon became a fully-fledged Perm and Temp generalist agency.

In 2001 Jonathan Clarke, Julie-Ann’s husband, joined the business due to its amazing success. With both of these entrepreneurial talents in the business MJ soon had offices in Whitstable, Canterbury and London and the organisation began to grow with clients as diverse as multi-national pharmaceutical giants, international blue chip engineering firms and of course, the all-important SME’s.

Today, Morgan Jones has offices in Broadstairs (we moved to a plush new site in 2012), Sandwich, our Science, Technology and Engineering hub and London, Victoria Street, which concentrates mainly on Finance, Accounting and Hospitality. We also developed an HR Consultancy providing support to businesses large and small.

We are a generalist agency with a team of qualified and trained consultants who each specialise in certain sectors – enabling clients and candidates to call on a wide spread of knowledge and experience. From very humble beginnings Morgan Jones now has a team of over 20 staff, we are still growing and our plan for world domination is well on the way to fruition!
